Design Description
A design brief of dark, moody tones and wood accents served as the foundation for this kitchen. The obvious choice for the focal point was the custom Island Benchtop with a cantilevered tabletop. The striking gold veins that ran through the island bench top with the waterfall end inspired the remaining finishes. The warmth of the open cabinetry was highlighted on the back of the Island benchtop area, with the Sweden Elm blending in seamlessly along the dramatic dark brown and gold Sahara Nero. This was an opportunity to be innovative, fully appreciating the Kitchen’s edgy, dramatic, and elegant proportions.
